Draft For Poster
Like all production pieces research on similar excising product was required to produced the highest grade as possible. The conventions which i distinguished throughout my research and what i needed to include was; a main image which would capture the overall theme for the film and would give the audience a teaser. The representation of the two protagonists within the image allowed the audience to see what it was about. Including an age rating, actors names, producers and film credits.
When undertaking the research the poster which had a lot of influence of my production and the way i represented the characters was 'Good Will Hunting'. The storyline was similar to mine in the way which one protagonist took another protagonist under their wing and tried to influence them in way which would make them more successful in life.

Planning Of Radio Advert
When planning my radio advert i had to research other radio advert to find out the conventions that i will need to include within the clip. Also i research film trailers and how they relate to the radio advert as well as the poster, this allowed me to produce an overall more professional product and achieve a higher grade.

radio advert 5/10
Good idea but issues with editing - it doesn't run smoothly. Also issues with quality of voice recording - you may need to do this in a music department studio for better quality. Also consider adding sound from the film - convention.

Target Audience Research for Short Film
Who are the target audience for short films?
The target audience for short films is likely to be a niche selection of people who are either from a background that are film enthusiasts and who are involved in the film industry such as film critics or director's. They are likely to visit networks such as BBC's short films because from a director's point of view they could be scouting for talent, which may lead with them working with them in the future. The advantage of doing approaching a director from this apart from the obvious that they have talent is that they will be very eager to work with a professional director and therefore they may be easier to negotiate with in terms of finical aspects. On the other hand people who have different interests such as students researching and looking for inspiration my also visit the network of short films. Lastly investor's will be interested to the Due to the backgrounds of these group of people they will have similar demographic’s because the students who are in education will be classed as C1, B and A as for the personalties like director they will fall into the same class.
Who are the target audience for the film you looked at?
As a result of the film plan being very clear and the story pattern that was going to develop we felt that the target audience we researched would be of a similar nature to what the protagonists was. This was because we felt that it would be of more interest and could effect a life of a youth a lot more than an adult that has already been through that period of their life. However, the only reason why it would be of interest to the a different age group such as people who are likely to be parents would be to see what their children could be facing and what they might be experiencing in the difficult times of their lives. Therefore are target audience will be teenagers who are either at school or in a similar environment.
Who are you making your film for?
Due the fact that the two protagonists are of youth culture that is an indication that my audience will be of similar age. Also another reason that the audience is target at the the age gap 16-20 is because of the issue that take place within the scene, it is about decisions they face and how deal with these decisions and how they can effect their life. Due the target audience and the situation they are in their life involves being in school and therefore are most likely to come from a demographic category of A,B or C1. As well as the issues that are presented throughout this film which relate to the audience we wanted this to not so much educate them but demonstrate that they have a choice in life and its in their hands in which decision to make. In terms of psychographics as a result of them being students and them possible relating to the actors it likely they could range from being succeeders who are ambitious and believe in them self to drifters who are not sure what they want yet or maybe drop-outs which do not make any commitments of any kind. I would like to think because of the change of events that take place and how personalities develop it covers situations of all psychographic categories.
